Introducing the Children's Funeral Benefit

In 1905, the Journey of the Sixpence began. For just sixpence a pay, a funeral benefit was paid to help cover the expenses associated with the death of a loved one. Indeed, the peace of mind provided to members in 1905 still exists today - 105 years later.

As a result of the increasing number of requests by members and potential members over recent times, we are very pleased to announce the launch of our Children’s Funeral Benefit.

The Children’s Funeral Benefit will provide peace of mind to families at a very low cost. For only $1.50 per fortnight ($39 p.a.) each dependent child will receive a $7,000 funeral benefit. Our membership is growing (over 25,750 now) and so is our product offering. APS Online allows you to:

  3. Print loan statements
  4. Change your password
APS Web Loans enables you to:
  1. Apply for loans online 24/7, quickly & simply
  2. Calculate your loan repayments and check your application progress
  3. Top up your loan balance with ease

How do you access our new online facilities?


To access these facilities you need to activate your APS Online account.

  1. You will need your Login Name (being your membership number excluding a zero if that is your first digit) and Access Code (being your date of birth dd/mm/yy if you have not previously registered).
  2. After you have logged in, you will be asked to change your Access Code to anything you wish (as long as it is between 5-10 characters including at least two numbers).
  3. In the APS Benefits web site, click on the APS Online logo found on the right hand side of the Home Page.
