APS Benefits offer a wide range of financial services and is open to all people from the public service and public sector including the Defence Force.

Spouses, partners, siblings, parents and children of members (aged 16-100) are also encouraged to join the Society.

APS Benefits has over 25,000 members around Australia.

Financial "peace of mind" starts with the benefit originally set up by the organistation's founders in September 1905. APS Benefits still pays out the funeral benefit cover to your nominated beneficiary within 24 hours of notification.

The Society also still offers a small value loan facility for its members, just as it has since 1938. We now offer a Special Purpose Loan facility. Members can apply for a loan of up to $30,000 for a "special purpose" like property renovation and assist with the purchase of a new or late model car or even approved investments.

We offer a Mortgage and Finance Broking Service whereby members can obtain Home Loans, Re-financing, Car Finance or obtain a Reverse Mortgage.

APS Benefits believe that Financial Planning should be available to everyone and we offer a professional Financial Planning service to members and non-members.

APS Benefits strongly supports community needs and Defence groups, in particular the Defence Special Needs Support Group. In recent times DSNSG has received $150,000 for various group and individual projects.
