Peace of Mind In the event of the death of the member, the last thing a partner, parent or child needs is the worry of coping with new financial burdens. For just $5.20 per fortnight (deducted from your pay where possible) you have a funeral benefit which, together with annual bonuses, offers APS Benefits' members the peace of mind needed following the death of a member.
Bonus Earnings After joining APS Benefits, declared bonuses can be added to your funeral benefit fund and paid on the death of the member. Often, bonuses are more than your yearly subscription. This is one the great benefits of a non-for-profit benevolent society. Future bonuses are dependent on the performance of APS Benefits and as such cannot be guaranteed. The funeral benefit will be paid within 24 hours of notification of the death of a member. Now that's peace of mind.
